What’s new:

Universal Binary for iPhone and iPad – New, Gorgeous iPad Interface in Stunning Hi-res
For the first time SleepStream is avaliable in an unique iPad interface. This takes advantage of the large hi-resolution screen, but the simplicity of the iPhone app is maintained. You’ll be amazed by the intensity of the visualizations and the sharpness of the interface. Retina support for the new iPad is of course included.

Isochronic Tones Brainwave Support – 140 Brainwave Programs
SleepStream user feedback tells us that this is a feature that you wanted, so now isochronic tones are included for all binaural beat modes!

Isochronic tones are regular beats of a single tone used for brainwave entrainment. The interference pattern that produces the beat is outside the brain, so headphones are not required for entrainment to be effective.

Isochronic tones work by emitting sound at regular intervals. This excites the thalamus and causes the brain to duplicate the frequency of the Isochronic tones.

In SleepStream 2 Ultimate isochronic tones are indicated by an “(i)”.

High Resolution Visualizations, Wallpapers and Moodlights
We know that the visualization feature is widely used by SleepStream devotes and in SleepStream 2 Ultimate we have included even more visualizations. New visualizations include a new moodlight feature, where randomly generated plasma images flow across the screen in a harmony of colors and textures. In the iPad version we have included breathtaking static wallpapers as a backdrop to the interface.

AirPlay support
AirPlay support allows you to play SleepStream audio on AirPlay enabled speakers and receivers.

Stunning Sound Quality
Sound quality is vital to sleep and relaxation applications. That’s why the 100+ sound tracks in SleepStream 2 are professionally mastered. Sounds of deep, rich drones, calming ocean waves, gentle forest rain and distant seagulls – to name a few – will be your first class journey into a deeply relaxed state.

Overlays and Guided Voice Sessions
New in SleepStream 2 is the ability to mix background sounds with overlays – for example voice tracks or music. For a limited time, SleepStream 2 comes with two free guided relaxation and energy sessions and 45 minutes of calming music – all available from the downloads-tab.

51 Binaural Beats and Binaural Beat Programs
In addition to breathtaking audio, SleepStream offers specially designed binaural beats that can be integrated into the sound experience.

When your brain tries to process two different tones, one delivered to each ear by headphones or earplugs, it creates a sensation of a rhythmic beat – a kind of auditory illusion. These beats have been shown to stimulate the brain’s activity associated with states such as relaxation, sleep, focus and energy by a process known as entrainment.

SleepStream 2 offers 51 binaural beats and binaural beat programs. The basic binaural beats stay at one specific entrainment frequency, while the binaural beat programs move from one entrainment frequency to another, taking you from your current state to your desired state in a certain amount of time.

SleepStream’s timer function makes it easy to enjoy power-naps! Just engage the timer and alarm, and SleepStream will gently wake you after your session has ended.
